It may appear to be a smaller, aged local shop, jam packed with inventory, but it's to your benefit! The selection is great (significant number of beers from local and national breweries, including limited releases - as well as wine and spirits). The greatest thing is the staff! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Just ask, and they will take the time to explain anything you're curious about. Very knowledgable!

this is a really great spot for beer and wine. the owner and the people that work there are friendly, polite, and knowledgable about their stock. always getting new beers. almost always go in for a 6 or 12 and come out with more than 24...highly recommend this shop. good location with plenty of street parking

Really great place to go for wine,beer, and liquor. A great selection of wines from all over the world. Really good choices of beer. If you need something ordered like Miller nips (for a relative) they will get it from their supplier. On top of that they are very pleasant and helpful. This is the best liquor and wine shop in the area!

This is a great liquor store with a good selection of wines, liquors and beers. The owner doesn't carry a wine that he hasn't personally tasted (so he said to me when he recommended a Portuguese Red from the Douro region when I was buying a bottle of it).

Best liquor store in the area. Great selection of craft beer and wine, and great prices to boot! Scott is super knowledgeable and will order just about anything you want, even the rare Scotch whiskeys that I love. The other guys there are phenomenal beer snobs (in the good way) and will help you pick that perfect brew! Love this place!

We were visiting from Charelston SC and in search for some wine. Luckily we found Scott. He was a pleasure to deal with and recommended some outstanding wine. Each bottle we opened got better and better. Thanks Scott!

Scott is a gem! I came into town for a funeral with my parents and stopped for some wine to have at our hotel for us and our family. Scott was not only super knowledgeable about wine but he was so friendly. He even gave us change for the meter! Great wine selection, great owner! Highly recommend Rutherford wine and Scott for recommendations.
